Welcome to Andy's Travel Blog ... The place where the ups, downs, bumps, bruises, laughs and tears of my travels from Bangkok to Mumbai will be recorded. The aim of this blog is to ensure that my friends will have a way of knowing how I'm doing, where I am and what I've been up to. I also hope that this blog will be a great way for me to reminisce about my travels in the future.
I fully expect that an important part of travelling will be to take the rough with the smooth. As I write, Mumbai is recovering from a terrorist atrocity, Bangkok airport has been occupied by anti-government protesters, and I now find myself with 7 weeks to kill before my rearranged travel plans commence.
I think it's fair to say that things haven't started particularly smoothly!
